I had been a traditional Painter all my life, until 1991, when I transitioned from Oil on Canvas to a Mouse and Monitor.
Photoshop was new back then. Graphic Artistists, Photographers, and Designers started creating abstract images with Photoshop
by manipulating photographs. They created a whole new art form that was later appreciated as Fine Art. But my work was
different because I didn't manipulate photographs. Being a painter, I combine the tools and effects into formulas to generate images. Images of various forms, textures,
and patterns are selected and placed in layers to build a graphic composition. It's almost the same way I used to paint. Over the years, this collage technique developed into many styles. The work was hard but
the subject matter came easily. I'm a hopeless romantic, whether it be a long-forgotten memory, a present state of being, or a futuristic daydream. I enjoy using movement, color, contrast and subject to express feeling, just like music. Images spontaneously

appear in my head when I listen. Most of these paintings are over twenty years old.    Thank you for viewing them.

In 1991, I transitioned from Oil on Canvas to a Mouse and Monitor. Photoshop was new back then, and computer
art was not considered to be Fine Art. My work was different because I did not manipulate photographs. I constructed
images using the obscure process of pixel manipulation and image layering. This technique formulates the tools and
effects in the basic program to morph pixels into images. These images are constructed on layers and then pieced
together like a puzzle to build a dramatic composition.
I developed this collage technique into many styles. Being
a hopeless romantic, the subject matter came easily. Whether it be a long-forgotten memory, an age-old legend, or
a futuristic thought, I use form, movement, color, and contrasts to express my emotions. I like music. Most of my work
is
inspired by it. I have a very large Vinyl LP collection that has every kind of music. My favorite is Jazz. Spontaneous
images appear when I listen to it. Most of the paintings on this website are over twenty years old. It is a small sample
to show the wide range of my work.      Thank you for viewing.
